About Our Store

Zach and Claire Manka are both originally from the area and are excited to have moved back home and to once again be part of the International Falls community. We are a family of four, with two energetic kids who are as thrilled as we are to embark on this new adventure. Our core passions are for sports and the great outdoors. We strive to incorporate this enthusiasm into every part of The Sports Shop, from the items we provide to the experiences we create. By bringing our love for sports and the outdoors to the business, we hope to create a space that truly resonates with our community and enhances the lives of all who visit.

Zach has experience as a hockey and golf coach, hockey referee, and participates personally in hockey, golf, disc golf, fishing, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, archery, bowling and biking.

Claire has personal experience with softball, basketball, golf, archery, and biking.

Our vision for The Sports Shop is to not only maintain its status as a cornerstone of this community but also to elevate it to new heights. We are eager to contribute to the growth and success of this beloved establishment. We believe that being actively involved in the community is vital. We want to be more than just business owners; we want to be your neighbors, friends, and valued community members. Our commitment to the community is unwavering, and we plan to actively engage in local initiatives, sponsor local sports teams, and support community events.
